After climbing the stairs, one comes to a room where behind the door are french windows and scenes beyond. A shaft of sunlight splashes gently on the carpet, and it is easy to tell that the carpet really suits the concrete space; the texture, technique, colour, thickness and size of the carpet is topnotch. The rigid division of the walls nurtures a strong feeling of being enveloped and absorbed. In this cube of space, different squares combine and cut; I feel that this space is so total, so much so that there is seemingly no way to get into it…
Finally, I manage to immerse myself in it, fully feel it and appreciate it. I remember well the scene in which sunlight gently lands in the space, it is peaceful and smooth. I mean to in this space turn it into a point, a tiny bulge that may, under the sunlit carpet, start to form its own chiaroscuro.
I wish to call her Princess Pea.
