Life-Size Drawing
installation 2011
I drew the space directly in space.
Life-size Drawing is a conceptual work having multiple states: it is the largest work that could fit in the space, yet is almost immaterial; it is a painting, sculpture, site-specific installation and at the same time does not look like any of these. The work completely conforms to the real physical space that viewers are occupying, and is naturally placed in the areas of the space where surfaces meet and transition. Using minimal forms, the work succeeds in comprehensively expanding our notions of art.
